Because of the high vaulted ceilings in this bedroom, the entertainment center pictured here is deceptively large.  The bottoms of the side (speaker) cabinets are 6 feet, 6 inches above the floor!  The downlighting installed in the bottoms of these side cabinets creates a reading area on each side of the center unit.
 
 We worked closely with the audio designers on the location of the electronic equipment. This fine cabinetry is functional as well as beautiful.

Note that the doors that enclose the television as well as the stereo components are fully retractable.  Also, the shelf above the television is wide enough to accommodate both a VCR and a DVD player.
