A striking corner cabinetry design
Staggered heights, depths, and widths add to the stately character of this built-in cabinetry that was inspired by the owner's antique free-standing desk.  The corner cabinet has closed storage behind arched raised panel doors, with a computer desktop below.  The mid-sections have cabinetry above with adjustable shelving, and a lighted display shelf below. Each base cabinet in this section contains three drawers and two lateral file drawers.  The angled end cabinets have glass shelves above for display, with closed storage below.  Fluted pilasters, crown molding with dentil block, and Enkeboll carved corbels (see photo below) are elements that enhance the traditional and formal style of the room.

Some of the other features of this cabinetry are:

 The photo below shows the computer desktop area, which is made of inlaid granite with a stained wood border.  the desktop opens up behind the pilasters, providing more space for items such as a small screen TV and a Bose sound system.
